Description: Saturday, September 11th, parade 10:30 A.M.
SPECIAL ADMISSIONS
SNEAK-A-PEEK – Thursday, September 9 - 5 pm to closing. Free Admission to fairgrounds. Armbands may be purchased for $20.00. Armband allows admission to all carnival rides desired. Food concessions will be open; however, no exhibit buildings will be open.
COLLEGE STUDENT DAY – Friday, September 10. All college students admitted free with current college ID.
SCHOOL DAYS – Saturday–Tuesday, September 11-14. School day tickets good only on these days. (Tickets will be distributed to schools in the Big Country area by the Fair Office upon request from school officials.)
SUBWAY FAMILY DAY – Sunday, September 12 - 1 pm to closing. Armbands may be purchased for $25.00 without a coupon, $20.00 with a coupon.
DOLLAR RIDE NIGHT – Monday, September 13. All rides will be $1.00 each.
MILITARY DAY – Tuesday, September 14. Special Admission - Free gate to all persons presenting a Military ID. $15 carnival armband. Thank you for your
service.
SENIOR CITIZENS’ DAY – Wednesday, September 15. Free admission to all
citizens’ 60 years old and older. Must show proof of age.
CANTASTIC NIGHT – THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 16 - 5 pm to closing. Free
admission to the fairgrounds for 6 empty soda cans. Armbands may be purchased for $20.00. The armbands provide admission to all the carnival rides desired that night.

If you’re ‘hooked’ on crochet and want to swap ideas and patterns with other enthusiasts, the Abilene Public Library is the place to be on the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Librarian Ann Mount will host everyone, from beginners to experts as the group shares projects and expertise. Bring your own yarn and crochet hooks and the group will go over basic stitches, crochet techniques and do different crochet projects together. Free.
